Week 5
It's week 5, it's week 5, let's all dance for joy. So we've been having some PDP lectures. Marian Meyer doesn't have a blog. Hm...........
Hypocrisy much?
I think perhaps. I mean I'm all for it, I have another blog which I've been writing for jsut over a year now. I decided to start another one for PDP because I would hopefully be a little more professional and appropriate in it. If you're really interested, you can link to it from my user profile.
The term is going well. I'm having the time of my life, but sometimes feel I can't really keep up. I'm coping though. I'm really thriving off being so busy. I haven't watched countdown or deal or no deal once this week! Though I'm feeling perhaps my anagram skills may be waning. So I shall watch again soon.
I've really enjoyed learning the saxophone. Being awarded the music scholarship has really given me so many oppurtunities. I've got my own saxophone now which is being paid off in instalments by the University. I've just started having voice production coaching from Jon Andrews. He's really great, if a little unconventional!
All this along with PAL, working online and soon starting a weekend job at Waterstones, I ama busy bunny. But I love it...
Episode Drama Group
I'm really happy with how this is going. Karen was really enthusiastic about our idea. We're writing about the private security firms employed in the Iraq war. It has involved a lot of research and at least 2 meetings a week, usually 4. There is a great dynamic with the group. It's a really supportive atmosphere for ideas. Sometimes it gets a little out of hand as we all get over-enthusiastic and we have to bring it back to the matter in hand so it is not too scattered.
Anyway I must get on with some real work, or I shall start using this blog as a procrastination method!
'Til next time....
