Placement at The Fix - Day 1
Hello there Noone (perhaps Swpnil),
Today was the very first day of my placement (and also the first day of Wimbledon (COME ON TIM!))
Anyway, I started today, at 11am, my working day is 11am - 6pm and at the moment I'm working from home. Oh bliss. As of next week when I'm back at home I'll be going in to the office 2 days a week. Then in August I'll be up to Edinburgh. I have a feeling this placement may go on a little longer than 6 weeks. Looks more like it's going to be 8. I'm loving it so far though.
So yeh, what have I done? Today I wrote up some stuff for their myspace page, as well as generally tidying and updating the pages. I wrote advertising bulletins for some comedy nights, and spent an awful lot of time trying to find us accommodation within budget for the Edinburgh festival.
Tomorrow I need to start compiling the list of people to send mags to. A list of editors, management and production companies that sort of thing. So that should be fine.
